Good to know
Isn't Vienna–Salzburg too far for a day trip?
It's around three hours each way by road — long for there-and-back, perfect as a one-way scenic transfer. Most guests travel Vienna → Salzburg (or the reverse) and make the journey itself the sightseeing day.
Can we visit Hallstatt on the way?
Yes — Hallstatt sits close to the Vienna–Salzburg line, and pairing them is our most requested Vienna route.
What about luggage?
It travels with you in the vehicle — turning a transfer day into a tour day is exactly the point.
