3 Days Special Tour

Overview

During the first day we will provide you a walking tour of the city of Salzburg, have some free time to either grab something to eat, or explore right away together the most important sigths around the city center.

On the second day, we will show you the Lake District area. We will go to the unique village of Hallstatt, one of the oldest villages in this area. Discover the history with us and get a different perspective of time.

It is a special place within the lake district area that has not only history but every angle reveals another little secret of this village.

Enjoy the Lake District area and round it all up to discover where the hills are still alive.

During the third day we have two options:

a) To show you the area of Werfen with it's fascinating ice caves. Learn about the fascination of permanent ice. See the ice formations that are unique, especially when lit up by the local guides. Be aware that you will have to climb inside the cave about 700 steps up and about the same amount back down.

In the afternoon we have a more relaxing part of this tour: the fortress of Werfen with it's nice history and the perfect setting elevated above the river of Salzach and surrounded by spectacular mountains. Explore history alive and round it all up with a great falconry show. Learn about the falcons, the eagles, and how they were used in former times for hunting.

b) Discover with us the Berchtesgaden area and learn about salt, lakes bedded within some of the most spectacular mountains this area has to offer with clean fresh air and the see the crystal clear waters, the real tresure behind these green fields and unique vegetations that can be explored.

Enjoy a personal pickup in Munich, or Salzburg and enjoy a drive on a part of the German highways to the lake of Chiemsee.

Arriving at the lake we will go on a relaxing boat ride before we will start a nice smooth walk on the island of Herrenchiemsee. We will arrive at the most expensive and most opulent palace of King LudwigII. We will have a tour through the palace, a copy of the Palace of Versailles before we will take the boat back to the van and drive then through the Bavarian countryside to your hotel in Salzburg.

- A private transfer-tour to or from Vienna:

Discover the lake district area of Salzburg and Upper Austria or just enjoy a smooth ride before we will get off the highway in Melk and taking you through the Wachau Valley, called the Austrian Danube Gorge. The Wachau Valley is known for it's welcoming atmosphere with all the vineyards and lots of history to be discovered and learned. It is a very scenic area with legends, castles, vineyard and fun, as well as the perfect location to enjoy before the vibrating city of Vienna welcomes you.

During the drive, you will discover many unexpected facts about Austria and will get already some insights into the town of Vienna before immersing in it.
