We had an absolutely fantastic tour with Bernd. He was knowledgeable and engaging and showed us all the Sound of Music sites plus Mozart and general Salzburg city sites too. He picked us up from our riverboat cruise and had us back in time without us feeling rushed. In the middle of touring, we had an authentic lunch at a mountain top restaurant which was an excellent way to break up the day. Bernd also followed up with some great suggestions for our stop in Vienna. I highly recommend Bernd.

This tour was AMAZING! Bernd did a WONDERFUL job of showing us Salzburg, including the locations where The Sound of Music was filmed. He even arranged transportation to and from our hotel. I was traveling with older adults so our tour was mostly by vehicle but we were still able to get out and see the sights and take photos. I advise you watch the movie before you do this tour - it will make it even more special. My family can't stop talking about it. I HIGHLY recommend Bernd's Salzburg tour!

My husband and I had a private 2.5 hour walking tour of Old Salzburg and Bernd was a charming and knowledgeable guide. We particularly enjoyed our visit to Mozart's birth house. We went early and there were hardly any other visitors, so Bernd was able to spend time explaining all the different floors of the house, now a museum. We then strolled through the old town, with him explaining many things and finished our tour after visiting the wonderful Cathedral, where, again he explained so much.

He added also the real story to his in depth-knowledge.This tour is worthwhile trip for anyone who is a fan of the Sound of Music and even to those who aren't as you get so much more information about the city, the lake district area and small villages like St. Gilgen and Mondsee.
