Overview
This day is for car and engineering fans who want more than a museum ticket. We take you to Hangar-7 in Salzburg for its vintage aircraft and Formula 1 cars, to the Hans-Peter Porsche Dreamworld, and to Fahrtraum in Mattsee, the collection built up by Ferdinand Porsche's grandson, where in the warmer months you can go out in one of the old cars around the lake.
Good to know
- €1,080 for your private group of up to 6, about 6 to 8 hours depending on how long you spend at each stop.
- The museums run all year, but the vintage car ride is a summer option, usually May to September and only in dry weather.
- Entrance fees are not part of the price unless we confirm otherwise when you book.
- Walking is easy and mostly indoors on flat museum floors.

Fahrtraum is the Porsche family's own collection, not the official Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, so choose this day for the cars and the story, not for a factory visit. Is this the Porsche Museum in Salzburg?
We visit Fahrtraum in Mattsee, which shows the collection of Ferdinand Porsche's grandson, and the Hans-Peter Porsche Dreamworld. Together they cover a lot of the family's history, but neither is the factory museum in Stuttgart.
Can we drive a vintage car?
In summer, or whenever conditions allow, there is a ride in one of the original cars around Lake Mattsee. Tell us when you book so we can confirm what is possible on your date.
What is the best time of year?
The tour runs year-round. For the car ride, book between May and September.
Is lunch included?
No. We plan a lunch stop and can recommend local restaurants, including a place for a real Salzburger Nockerl.
What is the cancellation policy?
This is a premium tour. Full refund if you cancel up to 60 days before, 50% refund between 60 and 30 days, and no refund inside 30 days.
